Challenges: Creating an online food supply with the target audience consisting of students and teachers, is not an easy task – especially, when parental permission is involved. Sigma Solve had to devise a custom solution for the client, in which a system where users could select different meals, drinks, and side meals, would be developed, while also addressing the end users’ concern of food allergies. In addition, the client wished to reduce the work of users by providing the functionality to repeat meals on select days and weeks. Solution: Addressing the requirements of the client, Sigma Solve built a website in nopCommerce where different options were displayed, available to the user (parents, teachers) to register. Problem Fresh Meal Plan, a Blue Apron subscription competitor that delivers meals to your door, had been growing due to a recent digital web and snail mail marketing campaign. However, the website was disconnected from the sales team in that all leads, inquiries and orders were simply being stored in a database connected to the website. The sales team had to login to the website administration daily to see if any orders had been placed, or if any leads or inquiries had to be tended to. To ensure a seamless experience for all parties involved, Factor3’s development team was asked to integrate the Fresh Meal Plan website with their new Salesforce CRM platform. This meant utilizing the necessary Salesforce REST APIs to develop code that would allow for a two-way sync of data and communication between various parts of the Fresh Meal Plan e-commerce website and their Salesforce CRM platform. Requirement We catered to the client’s need of creating a user-friendly, easily accessible website to help users purchase medicines online, as needed. The approach was hassle-free for users, as the interactive interface allowed customers to automatically place the same order every month. Additionally, the client wanted to add the third-party tool Quickbook; along with this functionality, shipstation and medicines with DAC integration were looked at for implementation at a later time. Solution Although the adoption of certain tools and techniques was challenging, Sigma Solve developed a website with the above listed requirements and exceeded expectations, in regards to the quality of the end product.
